The Factory 900 range of frames emanates out of the AOYAMA Optical Factory in Fukui Japan, the centre of Optical frame manufacture in Japan.  AOYAMA Optical has been established for over 80 years, encompassing 3 generations of tradition and design always challenging themselves to redefine the norm and develop new treatments to be utilised in the formation of shapes in Acetates for spectacle frames.  The constant research and upgrade to their manufacturing techniques enabled them to be truly unique in the developing market of frame formation.

Early in 2000 Aoyama Optical saw the opportunity to develop their house brand of Factory 900 with the concept of “THE FUTURES EYEWEAR”.  With this in mind they have presented a more sophisticated and exquisite eyewear line with the aid of their brilliant designers that has since stretch the status quo of modern eyewear and design.  Daring to be different has been the catch cry for August Eyewear and therefore a perfect match for Factory 900 to be presented to the Western Australian market……..
